2014 – Transforming Empty Space into Office Space
Due to increased demand in administration, Medishop GmbH requires additional workspace. The existing building offers expansion potential in the attic. The expansion project will create five additional workstations, which will be used as an open-plan office.
From a design perspective, the existing industrial character will be preserved. For functional reasons, targeted modifications to the structural integrity will be made. Roof trusses will be interrupted in areas of access and reinforced with new structural elements. The steel framework will be left exposed where possible to maintain its distinctive appearance.
